The book is even good, all righteous scary and shit, but he doesn't get much read because he keeps looking up and checking to see if she's changed still there and he smiles and spends a few moments just watching and kind of spacing out before he remembers to read again.]

[Kanaya is pretty impressively wrapped up in Trollight! Landdwellers and seadwellers alike will both die. It almost seems like she temporarily considers herself a genuine resident of planet Tined Utensils. [He looks tickled at that and toes off his own shoes, and socks too for good measure. There's a little sigh as he stretches his toes and then he goes back to the book, kind of half-humming a little tune under his breath.]

[Kanaya approaches the whole affair about as seriously as a high-level game of Troll Dance Dance Revolution, though fortunately not as vigorously: It's as if she expects that a certain set of inputs will give her a certain score, and she looks slightly disappointed and uncomfortable when it doesn't. Within sixty seconds she begins to awkwardly taper off.]
