Hugging this character: Yes. She may not enjoy it but seriously go ahead, don't bother asking.
Kissing this character: Yes. Don't bother asking. How she'll react seriously depends on the situation. (Warning: A lot of long words follow which are defined here.) If she does actually feel flushed for you, she'll most likely be flustered and reciprocate and all that great stuff. Caliginous emotions may well mean your character is going to be experiencing a lot of oral bleeding, but yes, that's a reciprocated kiss in her culture. Sort of. It should be noted these reactions will definitely be taking place for women only because Kanaya has certain exacting preferences.
If she's not attracted to you she's likely to be confused and worried about what to do and gently push you away and be all "What What Wait What Was That". In a genuinely negative relationship, you're probably going to actually get a slap. In really negative relationships she may actually react with violence.
Flirting with this character: YES. Green light. C.f. kissing, though reactions are likely to be less severe and more rife with snarky commentary.
Fighting with this character: Sure! You don't really have to ask me about this.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Trolls are definitely tougher than humans. If there isn't a specific long-term injury -- she'll likely recover fairly well. For instance, a broken leg, a stab to the gut: Things as severe as this are fine and though a little warning would be nice, it's not a big deal given the fight having been established. Serious injuries that aren't like this: Anything permanent, and anything that unavoidably inhibits sensory function or action for more than a day (like lower body injury where she won't have access to crutches, or breaking her fingers). If there is a specific serious injury you intend to inflict, we're going to have to talk, and you're going to have to present serious motivation for this to take place. There are going to be serious IC consequences from Kanaya's reaction as well.
Killing this character: Ask the fuck out of me on this one. Also, there's a very good chance that if able she's going to try to kill the character in retaliation.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes! I'd prefer having a good enough rapport with you that we could easily establish precedent and do this kind of thing casually. If we haven't established precedents for this kind of thing, exactly how Kanaya's mind is read and all that, please ask me beforehand.

Warnings:
Troll romance sure is weird! Kanaya may develop some very unusual forms of emotional attachment to your character if circumstances are right, and may refer to them as "romantic". Probably the form of romance most likely to be problematic is the caliginous relationship, in which trolls will experience concupiscent attraction to a hated rival. You will be able in near future to can read more about these phenomena and how I intend to play them here. But yes, I'll try to warn you if Kanaya is getting a non-human-normative crush on your character, so you can tell me if you're uncomfortable with that concept.

In Kanaya's canon, there is a very specific format of representing speech - by means of transcribed chatlogs, which are written in very idiosyncratic ways - and action - by means of second-person narration resembling a text adventure game. And a lot of people are so annoyed by this that they. SO.
- Text. Are you open to receiving text messages from Kanaya, which will Generally Be Written Like This? I will assume yes. If you say no, Kanaya's communicator will not allow her to send text messages to your character, and this may be explicitly discussed in-character, kind of like how certain characters being hiatused frequently is remarked upon.
- Handicap. Are you open to receiving text messages from Kanaya, but with certain specifications? Generally these will entail (A) rendering the font color as black and/or (B) including hovertext standard English transcriptions. Please be as specific as possible about this. If you don't comment I will assume no conditions.
- Logs. Are you open to Homestuck-style logs? This is a good reference for what you'll be in for. If you don't comment I will assume no.
- Tags. Are you able to swallow your overwhelming disgust with Homestuck and actually receive tags from this character? If you don't comment I will assume yes. If you do this, we are seriously going to have to talk because, dear mother of God, did Andrew Hussie kill your father or something? Should I prepare to die?
