I'm still getting used to it. [Even more active traumas and all. But with that she does go for the hug. Oh man this is great. Purpleblood hugs can all go to hell.]

Maybe not all of that time has entirely supported my process of getting used to it. [...quick, hide the trauma] So. The middle of a hallway is a somewhat unstable location to talk, and I'm not about to invite you into my respiteblock. [;|] Where do you think you'd like to hang out?

More like I'm not about to invite you in and put a do not disturb sign on the door. Unless you're interested in getting me a little closer to being a rainbow drinker rather than a violet one. [Beat.] But actually it's not terribly comfortable. There's not much besides my wardrobe, recuperacoon, and desk in there, so no real convenient furniture and [brief rainbow drinker flicker] I don't exactly sleep in there anymore, so. The cafeteria or garden would be more physically comfortable.

I will grant you that it is rather ununified at times. I wasn't even entirely sure which rules for turning might apply to myself.

[At this point they probably get to the staircase, this is the 2nd floor and they're going to go to the 1st]

... So how big is this place?

Eight floors, but patients mostly live on the first four. One larger room like the garden on each. There's another section with nicer accomodations, but the staff locked us out of it.

What do you do all day?

Recreate wardrobes from home. Make piles of things. Stalk prey. Suck blood. And--[oh here they are opening the door to the garden] Since that first project ran out of steam...

[It seems she's been trying to do her own quirky landscaping thing to the garden, though clearly a work in progress. Only an eighth or so seems to have her influence as of yet, and there's some unattractively dug up earth still visible over there. The rest is a slightly more mundane hospital garden. The whole arrangement is under a fairly good projection of a sky -- walled in, but 95% accurate artificial clouds and sunlight]

Do they give you food, or do you have to grow your own?

There's a cafeteria. It's not great. Sometimes on good behavior we're allowed access to a kitchen, which is better.
